  1. I have been doing C25K consistently for the past 2 weeks. Suddenly I'm at week 3 and it's really hard for me to get through 3 minutes of jogging. Day 1 &2 I cut the second time through a few seconds short because I just couldn't breathe. I'm a large person with weight to lose but not dieting just trying to eat healthy and drink more water. Sort of discouraged because week1&2 felt good. My legs hurt this week and I am whooped at end of "run" on week 3. Also I'm actually covering less distance on week 3 runs. Week 2 I had a pretty good Increase in distance. Should I forge ahead, or go back to week 2?

    Finally registered

I'm Zac. Live in Alabama. Just recently re downloaded the C25K app and started back. I'm in week 2 now and progressing much better than the last time. I've lost about 40 lbs and can run better than ever before. I'm not sure why I have never registered for this community stuff but I'm glad it's here.

  3. I've never been a runner. But give me a challenge and I'll take it on. I'm not totally out of shape so I'm hoping that helps me, but I'm the first to groan when we have to run sprints in class for our workout. My best friend and I've been talking for awhile about taking up running because we're so terrible at it - to be able to run a 5k without wanting to die. So that's our goal. We have a local color run/walk and today we start training for it, putting our feet where our words are. Now I'm looking forward to having this under my belt. A year ago (mothers day) I did my first 5k fun run/walk and I walked the entire time, pushing my kids in the stroller. This year I'm going to run it.
