So, my ankles crack when I walk no matter what speed. Also, when I run they have the tendency to "catch" which can be somewhat painful. I am not too sure why this is, but I am thinking I may just simply need to strengthen them. Any suggestions?

I'm Stefana and I just started running today. I have really bad knees from being a swimmer but I really want to run in the turkey trot this year! Any advise on how to help my knee pain while running?
Welcome! Everyone starts at a different place and so some of us need more time to get through week one. I can't tell you how many times I've restarted it. I'd say keep repeating day one until you can do the whole thing including the running, and only then move on to day two. Keep at it and I promise it will get easier!
