I'm on week 1 day 3 I was wondering I know u shouldn't run every day when first starting. but I have a goal of joining the miltary so next week on my rest days do I think it would be a good idea to go w2d1 then on my rest day go w1d1 and go up from there. I'm a little over weight but I've lost 30 lbs but I need to lose more and I have to be able to run 2 miles in 17 minutes right now I'm doing 2 miles in 31 minutes. Any input would be good

When I moved onto the 10k app, I started about Week 4.. Try it and see how you do, Move ahead if you think you need to! Good Luck!
