Well, First, welcome on here and congrats to you. I don't kniwnwhat kind of ohone you have, but you can go to settings, Notifications, and find the app there and turn off notifications for that app. I do it a lot on my phone and iPad as those notifications would drive Ya nuts. Let me know if that is what you are looking for.
If you feel like you are not improving, maybe some speed drills??? Strength training?? Try this; when you are in the run phase of the day, here and there, increase your intensity of it. I know some days it is sooooo hard to move faster, but it's all in the mind. Our Mind will give up before our body does. If I don't have music on, I barely can run. Great music makes me Move it, Move it!!!!
