  1. I'm right with you Southernlilmama72! Horribly out of shape (never really been "in shape" except when I was younger and had a way more amazing metabolism!) just starting C25K. Did Week 1 Day 1 yesterday and my asthma kicked 12 minutes in so I'm going to get up tomorrow and try it again until I achieve that first entire session. It might take me two or three of five tries, but I'll get there! If you need someone to team up with since we're both starting out at the same time feel free to shoot me a message at Melissathegoddess@gmail.com (or add me to your MFP friend list if you're using that app too - my userID is the same as the one here) and we can help each other through this thing together! I like going out early in the morning before people are out and about and I can feel less self conscious about what I look like or how often I need to stop to catch my breath. Have you thought about sneaking out for your session before the rest of the world starts moving? It's such a nice, quiet time and I'm really enjoying it.

  2. hmmmm, good question. I am not in an area where I can go do a 5k. So I do that by myself. If you are feeling awesome, surely skip ahead on the 10k app, but if you cant do that then just backup a few weeks and see how you do. You know your body and what you are capable of. I love these apps for keeping me motivated. Keep us posted as to what you do!
