I can't run on an empty stomach or I get light headed. So I usually eat protein and carbs like piece of toast with peanut butter or a hard boiled egg. Try different things and see what feels right for you.
Great stuff! Keep it up! Don't worry what others say or think, you have no control over that. What you can control is you and it sounds like you are doing a great job of that, by taking these first steps:-)
