Guest naumom57
Hi, I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis which is the autoimmune hypothyroidism. I have been on synthroid for at least 10 years and started C25K last summer. I had to stop due to plantar fasciitis and tendonitis, however, before taking a break, I did lose some weight, but definitely toned up...and felt better. Not so sluggish. Good luck. Dart_girl
A late reply, but I wanted to chime in... Another hypothyroid girl here. I'm only on week 5 so haven't really lost any weight - and I don't really expect to til I get to running longer times regularly. But I do think energy level in general has gone up. And I feel less lumpy, so that's a plus.
Guest RILY
My daughter started this plan and told me about it. She had hypothyroidism too. I'll find out what her user name is and post for you.
KellyAnn
Hi Dart girl and Riley. Yes it does suck that it's so hard to lose weight when you have hypothyroidism. I've just been diagnosed mildly with it. Today I'm starting back low carb today. Gotta lose. We can do it.
puffin902
I have hashimotos. I had weight loss surgery in September and I don't regret it at all. Smartest thing I ever did.

Guest Ari
I'm new to this but I have hypothyroid hasimoto s the autoimmune kind. I've found the only thing that help me lose weight was going gluten free. My Dr. Explained that people with the autoimmune kind are allergic to something.... And yoga and walking are the best thing for hypo- thyroid problems. Hardc ore work out stress the body and make it hard to lose weight hope this helps

Guest Malu
I have hypothyrod too, and if you are having your Eutirox pill in the appropiate dose, there shouldnt be a reason not to loose weight, my nutrition doctor told me that, before i used to think i could not loose weight! And with my nutritionist and a very little of exercise (i also have lupus, so i cannot exceed with exercise) i lost 7 kgs in 3 months, eating lots of healthy food! So forget about your condition, just have your meds and you are perfectly fine!
