does the run have to be outside or can it be on treadmill

Hi Katue,

 

Now you can train on a treadmill or elliptical, but just remember that those machines propel you forward with the belts and steps.  Why don't you want to run outdoors?  Maybe 1-2 x a week?   The road is way different than a treadmill.  Liek the comment above, make sure you do some incline running too.   Keep us posted and Happy Running!!

Hi! I only did my week 1 day 1 yesterday but I did a combination of walking and spot jogging indoors as per the time specifications of the app. Will that work? Also, what should I do on the days of the week when I don't do C25k? I really want to lose weight, a lot of it and get fit.

Hi There SUHN and Welcome on here,

 

Most of us crosstrain on the other days.   I love to lift weights, bodyshape, Yoga, Pilates, hike, anything to give my body the strength.  I also love to give my week 4 days of running, that is me though.  I just repeat the last days running.   Up to you, you know your body.
