Jimh
I just downloaded the app. The first thing it says to do is warm up for 5 minutes, but it doesn't say exactly what I should do. So I played candy crush. If I'm supposed to do something specific for the first 5 minutes please clue me in.
torus_ot
Short answer - walk. it is about 0.3mi normal walk (3.5mph) My joints need more then 5min to warm up, so I usually do 0.5-0.8 miles walking. missvictoriat

So I played candy crush. If I'm supposed to do something specific for the first 5 minutes please clue me in. On my android app, it says clearly at the top of screen "Brisk five-minute warmup walk. Then alternate 60 seconds of jogging ......". It's on every workout session screen you can't possibly missed it.

Clearly there are different thing displayed for the different apps my friend, I downloaded the Sit-Ups Challenge app and it gives no indication whatsoever of what to do during the warm-up period. torus_ot
How about "common sense" approach? Before any exercises it is recommended to warm up, stretch muscles to prevent injures like tearing them down. Obviously for running it would be warming up your leg muscles. Walking or light jogging with stretching is a smart choice. For sit ups I would go with more stretching for your legs and back. But you are right, it is good idea to state first what application is in question. PS. I have no idea what muscles are in use when playing candy crash
MsGreen
I'm wondering the same thing for the push-ups... How to warm up for that.

bstay2
You can search Youtube for "fitness blender warmup". Quite many 5mins choices and routines to choose from.
