Mentally stuck

I started doing this 5 weeks ago. On top of this, I do general workout all weekdays, just slightly less on the days I run, and bike about 25 miles on weekends. I'm currently on week 3. I've been on that for the last 3 weeks, and all 3 weeks, I've been able to complete it. But the jump to week 4 seems too high, and I'm having a mental block :(

Hello carut!

I can understand being afraid to make that jump. We instinctively shy away from things we know will be uncomfortable for us. Just take a day and tell yourself you'll just try a couple of the week four run segments and if its too much cut back to week three again. There is absolutely no pressure to continue until youre ready but I always push people to just give it a try. I think you'll be surprised what you can do :)

Hi Carut, you are doing so well. Give your mind a talking to, tell it you are in charge & you are going to give it a go, listen to some rocking beats not the voice that is telling you not to even try. You will do it & you will be surprised how well you do it because you have had a couple of weeks of training for it. Let us know how you get on, we are all cheering you.
