runbuccorun
Question for you all. I just started this week and didn't realize I was supposed to take breaks in between days. I only realized it today as my app moved to Week 2 Day 1 when I was expecting Week 1 Day 4. How should I proceed? I feel comfortable going every day throughout the week on my lunch breaks but don't want to overdo it. Any advice?
Aideen2200
That's brilliant! I'm about to do wk4 day3 this eve. If I was you I would just repeat w1 all over again but have a rest day? Then do the same next week, just do week2 all week with a rest day, I'm only saying this as you seem to be having no bother at all, on my first week I was so glad to only have to run 3 times a week Aideen2200
Jeshi
Hi, runbuccorun! If you don't want a rest day between running days, you could cross train (swim, weight lift, bike, etc.) This will help you prevent injury as it builds up muscles differently than running. Always remember to rest at least one day a week!
KellyAnn
Great question RUN!!! You can do everyday if you want to, just make sure you rest when you need it. Also, Jeshi says, Cross training is great too. SHocks your body to burn more too. If I want to run more, I just repeat days, Like 1,2,3, 3,2,1. Then move on from there... Super proud of you!
