Natcatvet
Hi all from Australia. So here's the go! 47 years old, overweight but I have walked lots and lots. Decided to start the c25k and I've just finished week 1 day 3. I did OK although my "running" is very slow and definitely a shuffle ! I'm so nervous about week 2 as it entails going from 60 second jogs to 90 seconds! What if I can't make it? I guess it's a whole new world. I'm rapt I've finished the first 3 sessions. Onwards and upwards. Anyone else here start as an overweight walker?
KellyAnn
Hi There and Welcome to you. Thanks for sharing your story. It is ok if you cannot make it, but I bet you can. Walk fast, etc... Sometimes our wonderful minds will give up before our bodies too! Good luck on your journey.
Jeshi
Hi, Natcatvet! Nice to meet you! I'm 85 pounds overweight and have never been able to run before. I was a bit anxious to do week 2 as well (and also really happy that I finished the first week!). Well, guess what, I finished Day 2 of Week 2 today and am fine. It -was- more challenging than week 1, not going to lie, but I was able to do it. You can do it! :cheerleader: Keep up posted on how it goes.
