Hi there. While i admire you all wanting to encourage each other in a seperate app, you are welcome as some of us are on MYfitnesspal

Our forums are wonderful for keeping track of each other. We strongly discourage giving each other your phone numbers. You dont know these people. It is up to you. Our forums are great support amd encouraging to each other.

We have amazing forums amd topics where you can share your journey. Be careful where you share your information and to whom. Kelly, Staff Moderator.

Hi KellyAnn,

Actually I admire your program too much and that is the reason why I want to create a group with newbie to encourage each other and easy to send his status about finishing or not. I don`t know this myfitnesspal application. So could you give me your suggestion of how to make group of new people to start together our way to finish this amazing program?

Hi everyone. I just ran for the first time since high school. I had to pause 4 times cause of shin splints, but I completed the whole first day. I'm pretty excited my wife did this a couple of years ago, and I always wanted to try it but I didn't think I could do it so I hope I can get over the shin splints so I can finish the program and start running 5k runs.

Hello Zima :)

Unfortunately being sore and having muscle pain is the name of the game when you first start exercising. Its good though it means your muscles are breaking down only to rebuild stronger and leaner! My advice is take an Advil or Motrin if you can an hour before you run and stretch really well when you finish. A hot bath with Epsom salts helps too.
