Guest 2sticks6strings
I just started 5k yesterday. Should I run the 3 days consecutively or every other day?
Guest Party wounds
I am by no means an expert, but if you're starting something brand new you may want to take it easy as your body gets used to the changes. Every other day is just fine.
jvincent78
You definitely want to give your body time to "heal". At least a day in between.
Guest Paula
I run Mon Wed and Fri. I do strength training on Tue and Thurs. I find that doing the strength training in between my run days has helped my form and stride. jvincent78
KellyAnn
I like every other day and weight training other days. I don't like to do back to back cardio.
Guest Amanda
I am doing it every day. But spend 7 days on each week. So day 1, day 2, day 3, day 3, day 3, day 3, day 3. Then go to the next week. Gives me time to be happy doing the week, without pushing too hard. Towards the end of the week i might add another jog in. That way when transition comes its not so hard. Im up to wk 4 day 3 now.
Stef.
You need rest days inbetween! I do other forms of sports inbetween my runs. I have now finished my C210K program and am now training for a marathon. Stef.
