Hello, on week 4! The furthest I've got doing couch to 5k

Hi, 

 

I've started the Couch to 5k about 4 or 5 times.  I always end up stopping by week 2 or 3.  I'm on week 4, run 2 but missed a week :( I don't want this to be the end of my attempt to run 5k once again so joining here for added motivation.  I started with two friends but they both stopped at week 2.  I think I'm going to skip Week 4 run 3 and move on to Week 5 Run 1 tonight.

I seem to be stuck on week 4 as well.  Running the 5 minutes is killing me and I always have to stop.  I'm trying to watch how I'm breathing but I just don't know what else to do to get through the 5 minute part.  I'm starting again tomorrow evening.  Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
