Week 8 failure!!! Advise please

hey all

 

I took a two days break after week7 and today started week 8 but could not run 15 minutes! I had to take three short 1 min breaks in between 28 minutes run!!!!

After 15 mins run my front part of both legs got pain that stopped me from continuing

I consider it a big failure any advise please !!!!

Its not a failure!! Any run is a good run. I know what youre feeling I promise you. I feel the same way when I have a tough run. Sometimes though the body just doesnt want to cooperate, its not your fault. Just get out there and try it again. Visualize and conquer. You can do it mjan!

Its ok mjan take a deep breath and try some light yoga on your day off tomorrow. You may have some shin splints and the injuries forum has a great post on those. This program is meant to help you build up your endurance but its also meant to test you. Running is as tough mentally as it is physically, especially when you hit a road block. Just power through. Give w8d1 another try on your next run day. Remember this is all about you and your journey so take it slow and keep your head up :) You can do it!

Wowoowwoowow I did it finally today! I changed my shoes and my path of running! I was today in Nice city of Budda Bamyan and ran 31 minutes!!!!

 

I felt very comfortable and could run for more minutes but I didn't and wanted to keep the schedule!!!!!!

 

If I could do this! I am sure all can do
