Jessica-K
Hello, I am new to this whole running and exercise thing. I have just joined Weight Watchers last week and am feeling great. Yesterday I took my dogs for a walk and we ended up jogging! First time in 25 years for me, since I have Asthma and have had knee surgery. It felt so good I went out agin tonight and walked / jogged for 30 min. I have a feeling this is going to be my new passion. It's awesome to have this app on my phone to help keep me motivated. Erin R
I've never been a runner either. I'm trying to get healthier and more active with my boys. I've agreed to a 5K. I started the program today and got "shin splits". What can I do to avoid that?
KellyAnn
Awesome Erin!!! Way to go. There is an article on shin splints in the Injury Section and also look online and see what you can find. It is very common.... Hate them.
Guest TrishE
Hello Erin Welcome. There is a great post in the Injury section of the Forums that discusses shin splints because they are so common. You should check it out Hopefully it helps!
