Just getting started with running. Been walking for about 2 months 6-10 miles a day. want to start interval traing (such as C25K) to build stamina and promote weight loss. I have lost 35 lbs through healthy eating, walking and moderate weight training. Starting C25K Monday.....Success is steps away to lose 45 more pounds and gain a healthier me.

Hello, I am new to this whole running and exercise thing. ;) I have just joined Weight Watchers last week and am feeling great. Yesterday I took my dogs for a walk and we ended up jogging! First time in 25 years for me, since I have Asthma and have had knee surgery. It felt so good I went out agin tonight and walked / jogged for 30 min. I have a feeling this is going to be my new passion. It's awesome to have this app on my phone to help keep me motivated.

Hello Erin :) Welcome. There is a great post in the Injury section of the Forums that discusses shin splints because they are so common. You should check it out :) Hopefully it helps!
