Hey there! I'm a 57 year old female that never ran a day in her life until 2 weeks ago when I started C25k program. My bucket list includes running a 5k with my daughter this spring. When I started the program we were having temps in the high 20's here in MN and I was ok running outside. It has been really cold here recently and I have succumbed to running on the treadmill. One of my concerns running both inside and outside is my speed. I am running but I am running slowly, although not sure what my pace really is. Initially I wasn't concerned about my pace, only worried about getting to the finish line. My question is this...should I be concerned about pace now or finish the program and then work on speed? Any advice or suggestions would really be appreciated.

Hi THere,

You are definitely not too old.  I am older too and I run like the wind, ok, maybe a little slower than that, but I have tons of energy..  You can do it!  I am sooo proud of you.Do not be concerned about your pace at all.  Everyone runs diffferently.   You can do it and I am sooo proud of you!
