tnl69953
So I just completed Week 2, Day 3 for the 2nd day. I just don't feel like I am ready for Week 3. I slipped on the ice tonight and landed on my bad knee. Now I'm worried. BUT I finished the workout with a hobble and now have ice on my bruised and swelling knee. I have lost 4#!! I hope I can run tomorrow. I NEVER thought I would make it through week 1!

Azatol
Hope you feel better soon. I'd really consider getting the knee looked at. Most important, if it hurts DO NOT PUSH THROUGH. Knees don't care for that approach. Stop, walk, call a ride, etc. Don't keep running once you're hurt or you'll make it worse.
KellyAnn
Way to go TNl on your progress in the app. Super proud of you. You can repeat weeks until you are confident in continuing on. Sorry about you knee. Ouch. Be careful out there. Black ice is so scary as you can't see it. Hope it heals fast for you. Keep us posted as to what the Doctor says. Congrats on your weight loss already. Woohoo!!!
Gabi
TNL...two words for you if you're running outdoors in winter...Yak Trax! I have a set because I live in Michigan and hate being indoors on a treadmill. Best investment in running equipment I've made (yes, even better than my shoes, although, not by much.) Not once have I felt unsure about my footing with them on my shoes. You can find them at most sporting goods stores and online for about $40. Good luck with the knee. I hope you recover quickly and can get back out there soon!
tnl69953
Thanks for that tip -I'm near Chicago and weather has been pretty dicey lately! Twisted my ankle a day after getting 16" of snow a week and a half ago, think I'll be hitting up Dick's Sporting Goods!
