49 and finished week 1 :)

Well the title is self explanatory I hope, I am female and decided to try the couch to 5k as a way of losing a bit of weight and toning up. I do a deep aqua swimming class once a week (think high impact aerobics in a diving pool with a float belt on) which lasts 45 minutes but have noticed that I put weight on far too easily these days!

 

I found the first week relatively ok, today (day 3) was a bit tougher but I did it all the same. I am always surprised how the 8 run/walk cycles seem to go quicker than you realise.

 

Here is to a weekend off, and start week 2 on Monday :)

Congrats on finishing up week one! It does go by quickly. Id say time flies when youre having fun but sometimes fun isnt quite the word.

I have noticed the same Val, and I agree with Trish ... it is challenging fun!  

 

Hi there Val! Warmest of welcomes!   When you shared, "decided to try..." ... it made me think of Yoda.  Sounds like your inner Yoda came out!   ;)  :P He famously says, “No. Try not. Do. Or do not.
