Hi guys, my friend and I are starting this with the goal of losing a bit of weight and getting fit along with all the perks like increased energy.

We're starting the 10k one on monday. Since its 3 days a week we will be going monday, wednesday, friday. Doing other workouts on our own on the other days. We both have kids so it'll be great to set an example and be able to run after them without panting like dogs! I can't wait to see and feel the changes!

My friend was sick today so i decided to go out for a walk on my own which turned into trying out the app early...well i almost died on the first run...im 24, 5ft 10 and 79kg....but wow! How unfit can i be!! No wonder i have no energy and motivation! Thanks for the welcome guys!

Running is tough! It works the body in a whole different way. Even people who lift or do other work outs everyday could have bad cardio. Its a different beast all together so keep at it! Doesnt it feel good when your done though??

Hey Jessie!!  I am so thrilled to hear you remained committed to working out today - in spite of and because of the fact that your friend was not able to go.  WAY TO GO!!!  I bet you felt great!  On that note ...  hope your friend feels better very very soon AND I cannot wait to hear about your next run - either alone or together!!
