In high school I could never finish the 12 min mile because I always got horrible side aches. I started this program back in August and managed to make it to the dreaded 20 minute run on week five. However, I got some elective surgery so was not allowed to run for 8 weeks. I'm back at it and now on Week 4, day 3 (next run tomorrow). I LOVE this program. Each run has gotten progressively better and I'm so hopeful that I can accomplish a 5k! My goal is to run for endurance and weight loss. I want to work up to 3 miles and run every other day building up to running everyday. This app is fantastic and I've recommended it to all of my friends!
