Azatol
okay I've been dreading this run for about 2 weeks now and I'm supposed to go tomorrow. It's such a huge increase in difficlty and next workout it will be easy again! Could somebody please explain to me who they are kidding with this abberation? You just explained how I was feeling. 5 weeks of stress. I just did W5D3 this past Monday. Take a slower pace than you usually do, kick the tunes and then be surprised as you finish it with a little gas left over. It sounds ridiculous when you look at the numbers but the science is right. I still can't beleive I did it. Try it, then report and let us know. I bet you nail it!!
KellyAnn
Hey Noah, That day seems to trip everyone up. Just do your best at what YOU can do. I don't know myself why it jumps uo to that length of time. I will email and ask them. Let me know how you do ok? Good luck.
Timb113
Noah, like Azatol said, you'll be surprise by what your body can do if you put your mind to it. If you've made it through the program to this point, your body is ready to run 20 minutes in one stretch, you just need to get your mind on board. Will you be tired? Sure. Will you want to walk at some point? Sure (and if you do, that's fine), but you CAN DO IT! We have faith in you. Let us know how it goes. Claire VBox
I was very doubtful too but thinking back, I was not capable of running more than 2min a month ago...So I decided to give it a try and I proudly ran 20min last week Just give it a try, reduce your pace and have your mind set to succeed! You know how to breath and your rythm so just be confident, that's all you need
