How often to train?

I started using the C25k app and see that you only do it 3 days a week.  Does it matter if I do it MTW? Or should I space them out to MWF? Does it make a difference of when??

Everyone is at an different pace. Listen to your body. When I first started, I went for every other day, but by mid week 2, my lower calves were a mess. Resting helps to reduce injury and help your body get accustomed to the training. I'm now back to every other day, but it took me 2 months to get here because I rushed it.

That is what I used to do with Body for Life.  HIIT cardio every other day and weights (alternating upper and lower body) every other day .  I am loving the C25k workout because they alternate days.  I am thinking about working on my abs using the sittup app in between run/walk days.
