I trained through the C25K just so I could actually run 5k. No I am training to run the 5k at a faster pace. I tried running faster when I first started training and injured my foot.
Try increasing your speed every other day but be careful not to injure yourself.

I know once I lose some weight it will be much easier to run. I just need to get my head wrapped around clean eating. I may have to move.....I live above a Dairy Queen lol.

Completed w3d1 today! I said goodbye to the mental block that kept me stuck on w2d3 and embraced the challenge. What was great is that it wasn't as bad as I feared

Bumping for seated cardio workout as well. I was into week 3 and injured my knee. Have been resting it but trying to think of exercises I can do in the meantime, apart from strengthening my hips, thighs and gluteus maximums. Went Aqua running. People must have thought I looked weird doing it lol.

i haven't been able to run in 5 weeks due to an aggravated metacarpal in my big toe. My last run was Week 5 Day 1. Where should I start off? I was thinking of going back to the 3 minute runs just to make sure that it has fully healed, but I don't want to be going backwards. Thanks for any tips

Thanks TrishE for tips. I have started moisturizing before I work out and it sort of helped. I will keep everyone posted on why works because I am sure I'm not the only one having this issue

My sister runs marathons (she got the active gene and I got the not-so-active gene) and she will run on both pavement and on trails. She has told me to take both locations slowly until I get used to running again. She also says that having the right shoes is important.

One of my Phys Ed teachers taught me to "pinch the fat" on the side that has the stitches. I found it worked on most occasions. However don't pinch too hard to hurt yourself lol. You will pass this obstacle, so keep up the good work!
