    Just finished the last run for week 3 of 10K. WooHoo! Increased my pace, threw in extra runs during the longer walking portions, and tacked on 2 min to make it a 30 min workout. 2.5 miles each day. Feeling awesome and looking forward to attacking week 4!!

    Sorry for your mishap Missy. A little advice on missing workouts.
     
    1) Forgive your self! Life happens, shrug it off and get rocking on your next one ( Or make it up if you want to )
    2) Never miss 2 in a row unless it's a real emergency type thing. Missing 2 begins a habbit and not one we want.

    I'm starting c25k tomorrow on my brand new treadmill. Got it put together today and will start first thing in the morning. I'm going to do the program first time through walking steady then fast instead of jogging since I'm 80+ pounds over weight. Hoping by doing it once that way then do it again with jogging I will be able to do a 5k by my birthday in July.

    I wanted to see if I could do it, walked about a quarter of the 30 min but ran when I was told to. Shaky all over and that rubbery feeling is amazing!!!!!

    I'm already seeing results from my changes. I have more energy and sleep a bit better at night....now if we could only figure out the shoulder pain issue then I can start weights lol

    Honestly the only way that I've found to avoid chub rub is to wear capris.  Danskin makes a very comfy moisture wicking capri and you can find them at Walmart or on Walmart's website.  Very reasonably priced.  Maybe after I lose weight I can rock some shorts when running but right now they just ride up too much and capri's give me one less thing to worry about LOL!
