  2. Lol bummer ....... Will have to try cutting back number of occasions! Once a bottle is open it gets finished by both of us by end of the night!

  4. I know lots of people use a treadmill? Do you have enough room inside to get a good jogging path?
  5. Pretty basic question. I eat clean with a "treat" meal once a week, but have admit red wine is my weak link! I love red wine and share a bottle with hubby 2-3 times per week with and after dinner. Any insight into how damaging this is for weight loss? I'm in week 5, definitely fitter and clothes looser. Any insights welcome!

  8. Week 5 Day 2 BAM done! Never in my wildest dreams did I think at the start I could run 8 mins in a block. Your pep talk helped guys I just got out there 6am and was like "I've got this!" And

  10. sooooooo ........ Finished week 5 day 1 (has 3x5 min blocks) and was quietly nervous about the 8 minute blocks on day 2. Then someone mentioned a 20 min run - looked ahead to week 5 day 3 - sure enough a huge jump to 20 min run. Ok so now seriously shitting myself ....... Feels impossible given week 1 I struggled with any jogging at all! Wish me luck for rest of week 5

  13. Hey Shanaf, having to repeat that session was a bummer but since then all smooth. Just finished week 5 day 1 no hassles - thought the 3 x 5min blocks would fail me. Not keen on the 8 min blocks next! I did give myself 2 rest days after failing in week 4 and repeating so maybe you could try that? It really does seem to get easier in the slow increments - someone said to me it's building endurance so just go slower - that helps too. Good luck on your repeat session !!
  14. Well done guya. I'm about to start week 5. I had a quick looks seems like 3x5 min running blocks. Are you on a 10k program rob with a 20 min block?
  15. I believe it's designed as 3 sessions a week which allows a rest and recovery day for your running muscles. Many people cross train on the alternate days eg cycle, swim, walk
  16. OMG week 4 just finished but our summer hot weather has hit and how does everyone deal with the flies !!! Sticky little buggers - they are less early morning but if there is no wind or breeze they are everywhere. I'm trying to concentrate on running but I'm swatting and swallowing bush flies. Insect repellant helps a bit. Anyone else got tips?

  18. Hey Rob - repeated wk4 day 2 today YAY finished. I slowed the last 5 min run section right down but finished. Only error of judgement today was being Sunday my only day off work I slept in and ran mid-morning - NEVER AGAIN oh my god the bloody flies! I was swatting and swerving I think I swallowed one ! Onwards to day 3 Tuesday morning (early!). Thanks for asking how I'm going also.

  20. I'm the sad disappointed stage week 4. Repeating session 2 again. Very frustrating also I'm overweight. It's a struggle.
