Hello all!
I am a soon-to-be 45 yr old woman who has never run before. I have friends who run 5Ks and half Marathons and I have always joked that I would only run if zombies were chasing me. Recently my 11 yr old daughter started playing soccer and we had a parent/child scrimmage. By the end of it, I was afraid that I might need to call an ambulance. At that point, I decided that some running conditioning might be in order. So, here I am. Tonight I will do W3D3. I am surprised at what Ive been able to do so far!
My goal is to "celebrate" turning 45 by running a 5K. Also hoping a a few of these vanity pounds fall off in the process.
