I used to dread the two minutes of running in gym class during school. I'd come up with every excuse not to have to do it. I have been overweight my whole life, but when I realized I had let myself get up to 310 pounds, I knew I had to change. I'm only 27, and I decided to take steps to make myself a better me.
Last August I bought a Fitbit, and have manged to lose 40 pounds, but I still have over 100 pounds to lose until I reach my goal weight. My mom and I have walked a couple of 5Ks, but I decided I wanted to be able to jog and I found this app. I have so far completed week one with little struggle, and I'm rapidly finding out that not only CAN I run, I'm actually enjoying it!
