So I just got to week 7. What a positive experience it has been so far. I have some thoughts to share. I hurt my LCL and got some shin splints after week two, and had to take some time off. I'm an addictive personality it seems, whether it's potato chips or running I overdo it. Please take days off. You've earned them. I learned there's a reason there's only three workouts per week in this program! I am motivated by losing weight (am I the only one??) but it's not going to happen overnight.).
One last point. It's a great joy to run downhill, but if you're a little heavy like me it does put a serious strain on the joints. I think that cooked my goose and lead to a week of ice packs and complaints from the wife. Runners beware. And have fun.
