Guest Jewel
So its my first time trying this and I ran the first day today. I was wondering if I could run 6 times a weeks to get everything done super fast. Also what should I do for the cool down?
KellyAnn
Hi Jewel, WooHoo, congrats to you. I do not think it is a good idea to run that many days in a row.. You might injure yourself and Your body does need to rest in between. Like maybe doing another form of a workout. Lift weights, cross train, ride a bike, etc... I Love to run about 4 days a week, and then do other stuff. BUT, if you are feeling, great, then do what your body tells you to do. Just make sure you rest when it tells you too. For my cool down, i like to just walk until it tells me to stop. Then I do some stretching.. Or I run more, lol. Good Luck.. Great questions. Timb113
Jewel, I think running more days in a week is possible early in the program. When I first started the C25K program, I was running four days a week and going for 3 or 4-mile walks with my dog the other days. Once you get into the fifth or sixth week, you're running further distances and it's tough to keep that much activity. Your legs will definitely let you know when you need a day or two of rest. Good luck!
