"Rest Days"

Just starting c25k and I'm excited about it but have a question that hopefully someone can help me with. Are there better days than others to do the 3days of the program and should I be doing anything on the "rest days"? I was thinking I would try to do the running on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday but then feel weird about doing nothing on the other 4 days. Would it be ok to do upper body/arms on the other days? I don't want to over do it but I also want to stay active when I can! Thanks for any tips or advice!!
