Hi everyone!

 

This is my first time attempting to train for a half marathon. It has been a goal of mine forever and finally took the first step. I have been an athlete my entire life playing soccer an basketball. I stopped playing 2 years ago and now I'm getting into running. I've done a few 5ks with times about 30 mins.

 

I'm just looking for any advice that anyone has to share. I'm new to this so anything would be extremely helpful :)

You came to the right place in seeking out us supporters.  You can do it...

 

My advice is, Get Great Shoes, Eat healthy and Do IT!!!  Get out and go..  Super proud of you, and Oh Yeah, Consistency....  Make a date with yourself.....  You can do it!  Keep us posted!
