Guest Amber
So I started doing this program in late April to get ready for a 5k in Ventura late May and after the 5k I stopped but now I'm back at it with my daughter (she's 11). My question is would it be so bad to run 5 days a week? My daughter is a natural runner, she was 3 and ran a mile like it was nothing, she really enjoyed running this morning so I was thinking of doing this 5 days a week instead of 3. ballanburden
I am trying 5 days a week as well and when I have been able to do so (schedule issues) I have seen no ill effects. Good luck and enjoy the time with your daughter.
KellyAnn
Hi Amber. Of course you can. Just make sure you rest when your body tells you to. Maybe longer runs 3x a week and 2days a week shorter runs. Make sure to do other workouts too so you shock your body into doing something else. It keeps your body guessing and you lose more weight too. Cool that your daughter loves to run too. All in the family. I envy you. Good luck to you and her. Hugs.
