Guest Victoria
it took me about 10 tries to quit smoking. That seems easy compared to sticking with this :-). However, this time I have a lot more emotional support. My physical therapist wants me to run a 5k this spring so I'm trying this again. Have set Saturday as my day 1 and already entered all my runs on my calendar. Here's to completing this time. At least if my legs start bothering me he can help before I give up
farmgirl
Victoria I hope your run today went well and congratulations on starting the program AND big kudos for quitting smoking! Girl if you can quit smoking then you can do anything. I quit a few months ago and I know how hard it is but if you put that same will power into this program as you have into quitting smoking then you'll have no problems. Happy Running! KellyAnn
I swear I commented on this post and now I don't see it at all. Weird. Way to go Victoria for quitting smoking. You too Farmgirl. I quit in 1998 and never looked back. It was the craze in Amsterdam, Holland. You teach exercise, then you go downstairs and smoke a cigarette in the bar (all gyms had bars), and drink a cappuccino or booze. Oh the shame now that I look back. Gross right???? But I was in excellent shore there. Seriously. Maybe because we rode our bikes everywhere the Ducth way. Lol Anyways. Keep us posted on here how you are doing. Cheers!!!!!!
