Jaybar
Hello everyone, my name is Jay and I am really new to this. I was wondering if I have to wait four more days before I can start week two. I don't hurt, but I am overweight. I have lost 40 lbs by dieting and walking and decided to up my game. I have a back injury, and I was wondering if it would be ok to push.
Jaybar
Oh and it's a seven year old injury. But it's still a problem. It has been getting better with each pound I lose.
KellyAnn
Hi JayBar, Welcome here. Congrats btw on Losing weight and wanting to do more. So proud of you. Great accomplishment. Just start where you want to. If today is Day 1, then Sunday and Tuesday, go for it. Because I, myself even have days where my body says no, so you get your weeks back in order. Make sure you check with your Dr., as you don't want a setback at all. I hate injuries, such a slow down.... It is amazing how much better our bodies feel when the weight comes off. Anyways, good luck to you and keep us posted. Love hearing from everyone on their journeys.. Happy Running!
Jaybar
Thnx, I have checked with the doc, and she says my body will tell me when enough is enough. I am always going to be in pain, but I will know the differences between them. She is behind me all the way. I will keep everyone posted on my progress. My hope is to be able to do a 5k before the new year.

Guest KMiller
Do you C25K every other day until finished or three days a week taking two days off between weeks?
ballanburden
I do the c25k program 5 times per week. I have just restarted, and as I did the first time I attempted the program before a non-running related injury, I run M-F. I do occasionally take Friday off and run Saturday, as I will do today. I do day one on Monday, 2 on Tuesday, and day 3 on Wednesday-Friday. Good luck!
