A few things to keep in mind:

  • Day by day, minute by minute - please be patient with yourself, you're amazing
  • Everyone has crap days - forgive yourself when you fall short of your expectations
  • Anything is better than nothing! Run when you can, walk when you need to

Hi Boondog,

Congrats! We are in the same boat. Never a runner, 54, and overweight. Got seriously run down after long illness and am trying to get it together again. Today was my first day on c25k. My goal is to fully complete this program by the time I turn 55 on April 11th. We’ll see. Best wishes to you on your journey!
