Guest Kate B.
I am 39 and will be 40 next July. I am determined to run a 5k before the big 4-0.I have 3.5 weeks smoke free. I am definitely starting from 'couch' mode but I want my daughters to see me do this. I am fighting for it.
farmgirl
Way to go Kate! First of all, major kudos on quitting smoking! I quit smoking myself two months ago and I know how tough it is but stay strong and soon you'll start feeling the benefits of this change for the better. Also congratulations on beginning C25K! Just keep your motivation and you'll do great
KellyAnn
WooHoo Kate and Farmgirl too, quitting smoking is liberating, I quit in 1998 and never looked back, I do love a cigar once in awhile. You will love the C25k app, it will motivate you for sure. Do 3x a week and 2 days of weights. You got this and we are your biggest cheerleaders. Lets Do This! Guest Julz
I'm 38, 39 next month, hubs & I both quit smoking one month ago today. I'm ready to run again. Ran track in HS and surfed competitively for years. Ready to do a marathon by the time I'm 40 too. Cheers!
