Generally stronger and feeling like running is easier although still slow as mud. I also think the rest days have prevented injuries I've had in the past training on my own and going too fast, like shin splints and plantar fasciitis. No weight loss yet, though. Had been running 20km 3x a week! Now I'm back to basics again. Lots of twinges but nothing too bad yet! Feeling fine about my runs but not feeling fit again yet! Karie DeLaurentiis Posted September 28, 2016 Report Share Posted September 28, 2016 I just finished Week 3 Day 2 and I'm feeling stronger and like I have more energy. I'm able to keep up with my almost two year old a little better! I've lost three pounds, not stellar but I'll take it! I love the rest days built in to protect from injury. This program seems really doable. I've been running on the roads around my house, but am looking at a used treadmill tonight. I don't want to get too derailed when cold weather and snow start to hit. You've got nothing to lose. For what it's worth, I had the same thoughts when approaching that day, and I went for it. Blew my mind when I completed it.
