Tracy0612
I just finished W1D2 and my legs feel like they are made of jello now. My hips feel like they're gonna pop off any minute. I know it's supposed to get easier but it's a rough beginning for this couch potato! Hopefully I can make friends on here and we can motivate each other! Tracy0612
I remember this, it was 6 month ago Did you stick with exercising everyday after you finished the 8 weeks? I just can't picture running "just because" after this. LOL. My body hurts and it's just the beginning!
torus_ot
I am working on my speed now. So, yes, if my joints do not object, three times per week I am running my variations of the program. 2-3 other days is a gym. Sher'ry
Haha glad it's not just me. I started this over a year ago. I never finished the app. As I started with a personal trainer. But I completed my goal and did the Warrior Dash!. No I did not run the whole 5K. But I did every obstacle and I completed the whole thing. Now I'm back to square one. Cherylseptember
I finished the program last week. My next goal was to run the full 5K distance instead of just running for a set time period. I was able to accomplish that last night, so like torus, I will now be working on speed. Good luck to you. You can do it! PS: my legs still felt like jello last night!
torus_ot
Cheryl Congrats on the completing the program and 5K run. What is your pace now? I did surprise myself yesterday running 2 mi with 6.5mph and 3% incline....
Cherylseptember
I averaged about 12min/mile. I am hoping to add in some hills and do a little interval training for speed. I'm still looking for a good 5k in my area to run in the fall. Maybe by then I'll be super fast.
Cherylseptember
Torus, I just did 5k for the second time last night and shaved 3.5 minutes off my overall time. Who knew? torus_ot
