Guest Lace
I got so excited I forgot to introduce myself. I am Lacy. I am 27 years old. I am a wife of 7 years and a mother of a 5 year old. I grew up thin. I was married thin. I got pregnant and got very sick (not just pregnancy sickness). There is a lot to that "personal" story. Anyways, I am 5'5'' and should be around 125-135. I am 60lbs over weight. I have tried Slim-Fast, Herbalife, the Adkins diet, Weight Watchers, Hydroxicut, Acai diet, etc. Curves & Zumba (which was working great, but then our town, West Liberty, KY had a really bad tornado and took about everything out.) I have also used ACE. I lost 34lbs on ACE. However I took to much one time and mixed it with one of my prescriptions and ended up in the hospital, I got scared and stopped taking it. I have a whole bottle left and am thinking of using it while working out, but in a much lower dosage. It is only supposed to be used to help get the process started and then it is up to the individual to exercise and eat right. I have done the whole eat right do portion sizes BUT it got so expensive there was just not enough money to buy enough food for the whole month. I usually embark on a healthy life style on the advice of others or when awesome products come out. BUT this time I just decided I wanted to run! So I started looking for an app before the app found me! Now my journey begins.
farmgirl
Welcome to the running world Lacy and congratulations on your decision for a healthier lifestyle and you should be proud of yourself, the hardest part of starting the C25K program is out of the way! It's actually pretty normal to feel a bit sick after beginning running. It's kind of your body's way of protesting the change. However keep an eye on it, if it becomes a regular issue you should definitely speak to a doctor. Keep it up and you'll get there
