Just started today and made it thru the first day. As a 61 year old grandma who never did ANYTHIHG athletic EVER, I feel good I made it. My kids are encouraging mme and that helps. I hope I can continue thru the program.

Kim - SO AM I! (A health nut who hates running) I just ran my first 5K and the only reason I did it was because it was through Disneyland...and now I'm kinda hooked lol Something that has helped me run with my husband who loves to run is break it up into intervals. Running is extremely boring to me, so doing intervals makes it more fun, and I also found a great music app that helps too - Rock My Run is a free app that's worth checking out if you love music and want something that can match your tempo.
Rose of Sharon - WOW good for you! I'm very impressed - you are living proof that we are never too old to get in shape! :) Keep moving forward one step at a time...and if you ever feel like giving up, just tell your kids...sounds like you have a great support system, which is so important.
