My name is Andrea. I have never ran before but am in a Weightloss program and we are going to run a 5K together (yikes!). I have lost 25lbs (yippee!) but working towards anther 25!

 

I have a set of twins (boy/girl) that will be 10 months in a week!! They are my motivation!!

 

Any advice would be welcome on this new journey!!

Welcome mama!! Congrats on youre already awesome weight loss :)

My advice is usually the same through out.

1. Be patient with yourself. Running is tough and takes awhile to master. Losing weight and switching to a totally healthy lifestyle also tough do your best to make it fun. Otherwise it'll become a chore.

2. Invest if you can in a great pair of running shoes. They are pricey but they are definitely worth it
