Hello-restarter here :)

I'm 50. Running off and on (more off than on) for about 10 years. I get on a roll, really motivated then the knees start becoming a problem. At my last restart, I did a few 5ks and one 10k. At the 10k I was the last one in but it was such a proud moment for me; I felt invincible. I want that feeling back. Taking it slower this time around and trying something new with joining this forum.

Hi. I'm 56 and did Day 1 today. Have run many half marathons, etc but not for about 5 years. That helped add about 20-30 pounds to me.,..gotta Lose that! Signed up for a 5k on 12/13/15 so can't stop.

Good for you, Kathi, for signing up for a 5k to keep you motivated. I have a trip coming up in a few months and plan on running on the beaches of Puerto Rico without collapsing
