KellyAnn
Hey Runmunchkin. Shoes are so inexpensive nowadays. Check Amazon too as they always have sales. I get mine for under $40.
Clairey-Lou39
Don't be frightened of the rain, I went out the other day in the drizzle and really enjoyed it. Went a bit slower so I didn't slip but thought I'd better get used to it if I want to run beyond September in England!

Hoju
The hardest part is starting and now you've got that under your belt. Great work RMR, keep at it! I think My dog is very confused when I take him with me. He's a husky/Shepard and the fastest runner I've ever seen. I'm certain he's thinking "why are running!? Why are we walking? Why are we running!?" And also "com'on human, you call this running!"
