jgrantham
I am new to the C25K program and have a question.... How do I go about lifting weights and running on this program? Everything I have seen says to take a day off between runs to let your body recuperate. This is normal for weightlifting also. How can i do this program and still lift? Any suggestions or ideas? Havinfuninsd
Run one day, lift the next, run the next, etc.

Nay33
Hello. I'm sure that the suggested rest only applies for in between runs..in other words, don't run 2 days in a row. Bit cross training is ok (and actually recommended) because different muscles are used and it actually makes the body stronger, which will help your form during running. Hope this helps. Guest TrishE
Yes but please make sure you take at least one rest day. Youre muscles need a day to rebuild, as the saying goes "muscles are worked in the gym, fed in the kitchen and built in bed"
