Ariel Detonation
I just finished week 5, and I did my weekly 5k (which is normally done with the intervals for the week I just finished) today. I ran the entire 5k with no walking breaks!! The last 1k wasn't fast and the last 500m weren't pretty, but I did it!! 42 minutes and 5 seconds of nonstop running! Crossing that finish line today was the most amazing feeling, knowing that I did it all, I actually ran a 5k. aahowe
mjan
Great job!!! I think we should be able to complete 5 k in 30 minutes not in 42. Let me know if i am wrong
Guest TrishE
Congrats!!! mjan, you can run a 5k in slower time, it depends entirely on your pace when you finish the program. There are a lot of people who havent gotten their time down to a ten minute mile by the time they graduate Its definitely a good goal to work towards when you finish. mjan
Trishe Thanks a lot. That is good to know because I also couldn't finish 5 k in 30 minutes. It is my goal and should be able to do soon Good encouraging stories
