Guest Kaitlyn
I am 18 years old and I go to college full time. I have been working out occasionally at the gym lifting weights (I'm really into weightlifting/bodybuilding) but this fall I am going to have to leave my house at 6am in order to get to my class on time. This means that I either have time to go to the gym for an hour, or get ready. Since I usually work out in the morning, I'm going to have to get used to working out in the evenings to accommodate for the days that I have to wake up early. Is there any teens or young adults that are just starting this? I'm one of those people that like to have accountability partners that are similar to my age. I really don't like running, but it is better than nothing, so I need someone to kick me in the behind when I fall short.
Guest Dae
I'm 18 too and I recently started the C25K program, even though I don't really like running. I'm a full time college student too so I really don't have time to work out in the mornings on weekdays, so for those days I just do strength workouts like squats and crunches in the evenings. I just run during weekdays. Hope you're managing your time well!
Guest Cam
I don't know if this matters, but I am 15 and wake up at 4:30 each morning to do my runs. Just make up the lost sleep by sleeping in very late when I can. Works fine.
KyCon98
Hey! 16 here. I struggle holding myself accountable too, but honestly my biggest motivator is my mom. I try to find someone who I can be competitive with, because that's what drives me to work my hardest.
