Guest TrishE
Hello Chris and welcome Running and creating a new healthy lifestyle is tough. Its an all around workout, mentally and physically, theres no shame in failing once in awhile. You have to make the decision to stick with it no matter what and thats the hardest part because no one can do that for you. There are lots of things that you can do with others to make it a little easier though. We have an accountability board on the forums where people post their work outs and struggles daily, you can also find an "accountability buddy" there as well. If this is something youd rather do on your own, like me, set short term goals by the week and reward yourself when you reach them. Thatll help when the motivation runs out. Most importantly be patient with yourself youre going to have bad days where you wont be able to run as far or you totally ditch your diet. Its ok, everyday is a new day to start over. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you keep us posted
