Guest KNovinger
I am having a really hard time keeping my energy up. I am in week 8 of 10k trainer. I just don't seem to be gaining stamina. Any ideas?
Guest Matthew Henry
Try 2 cups of coffee before you run, pineapple juice and a few hard boiled eggs after. Also, drink at least half of your body weight in ounces of water over the span of each day. That's what I'm trying and it's working great so far. Guest cv823
It might sound a little weird but drink a cup of water mixed with sea salt at night before going to bed. This helps relax your muscles and you wake up feeling great in the morning. The taste is terrible, but it does benefit you. I have a bad knee and started doing this a month ago, so when I wake up in the morning now I can go out for my run without worrying about the pains in my knee. Maybe it'll help you? jvincent78
Without knowing what your diet is like, it's hard to say. I've really increased my intake of fruits and vegetables and lean protein since starting the program. Since I finished the 5K app and started the 10K app, I've been downing a can of V8 Fusion Energy when I wake up on a run morning. Then with getting dressed and stretching, by the time I hit the trail it's flowing and seems to have really helped.
KellyAnn
I really keep myself Hydrated. Lots of veggies and fruits days before. I run better when I have some protein and fruit before I hit the trail! It helps.
